What This Machine Is
This is a heavy-duty 14/12 cutter suction dredger engineered and assembled in Estonia by certified marine specialists, built around an industrial Shijiazhuang 14/12G-ZG high-chrome pump package and a water-cooled Doosan V12.

It was operated as a manufacturer's demo unit — 450 hours total, maintained to demonstration standard — and is ready for immediate deployment in sand mining, river deepening, port maintenance, lagoon dredging and land reclamation.

Every module — pontoons, cutter ladder, fuel pontoon — is road-transportable. That means this dredger can work where no vessel can sail to: inland lakes, reservoirs, tailings ponds, the Caspian.

Beaver-Class Capacity. A Different Price Class.
Professional buyers benchmark everything against the IHC Beaver line. Fair enough — here's the honest comparison.
IHC Beaver 45
~717 kW total power 9–10 m dredging depth ~75 kW cutter · 450 mm discharge €3.5M+ new
This unit — Mereteh 14/12G-ZG
688 kW total power 10 m dredging depth 100 kW cutter · 359 mm discharge 2022 · 450 hours €1.0M class
IHC Beaver 40
~447 kW total power 8 m dredging depth ~52 kW cutter · 390 mm discharge €2.5–3M new
What you don't get: the IHC badge and its global service network. What you do get: EU-certified construction, complete drawings and documentation, a test run before you pay, and our commissioning team on your site. Beaver figures are manufacturer-published class data — verify against your project requirements.

A dredger you can't deploy is scrap metal with paperwork. We engineer how it gets there.
All prices net of VAT and duties. Payment via letter of credit or escrow. Inspection and test run in Tallinn welcome before any commitment.
Built Under Maritime Administration Oversight.
The dredger was engineered and assembled in Estonia by a certified marine constructor (Mereteh OÜ), whose vessel-building and repair activities are supervised by the Estonian maritime administration — the inspection act is shown here and included in the documentation package.

Structural drawings of the pontoon layout, heat-exchanger assembly and cooling system are part of the same package, released to verified buyers on request.

  • Why is it priced above used dredgers of similar size?
Because it isn't a used dredger in the normal sense: 450 hours is delivery mileage. You're buying the remaining life of a 2022 machine, EU-certified construction, and immediate availability against a 6–9 month newbuild lead time.
  • Who is Mereteh?
An Estonian marine constructor certified by the national maritime administration for vessel building and repair. Full drawings and the inspection act are in the documentation package — judge the steel, not the badge.
  • Can it really be transported disassembled?
Yes. Side pontoons, ladder and fuel pontoon travel on flat racks; the main pontoon ships as breakbulk or oversize road cargo. We provide a packing list with per-module dimensions and weights, and we handle the logistics ourselves.
  • What about spare parts for the pump?
The 14/12G-ZG pump package is one of the most widespread in the industry; wear parts — impeller, liners, cutter teeth — are available from multiple suppliers. The Turnkey package includes a critical spares kit.
